With the proliferation of global network attacks plaguing corporations, governments and so on. It is my
contention that suggests the lack of IT funding by said groups, coupled with
inexperienced or undereducated network administrators are mostly responsible for their own debacles.

Ones data will never be 100% secure on government or corporate servers. By limiting risk
to this ongoing problem is recommended. E.g., one way to limit ones risk is freezing their credit.
2) A proactive way to protect one's self is to contact their state lawmakers and request new
legislation similar to the Massachusetts Data Protection Law. 3) Monitoring credit card
and checking account balances via eAlerts.

Their are several ways to protect one's self from identity theft and a layered security approach is highly recommended.
